House Church Announcements
Hey everyone, I would love to get some feedback from you all on a potential opportunity coming at the end of August. Sarah Poteat, Leah Minter’s cousin - is a vibrant woman of God, with a heart to share with the body of Christ about God’s call to care for the orphan. Practically there are some services she offers through the non-profit that she works for (“Care Portal”), that could be a further blessing to us. I am viewing this as an opportunity to have our hearts impacted by someone else in the body of Christ (not as a call to do one specific thing immediately). Potential dates are the 13th-16th; or the 26th-28th. Please give us feedback as to which of these options might interest you.
Life in Limbo training. This is about a 2 hour “training”, which includes debriefing. This would this be an amazing experience for anyone interested in fostering, but also for anyone who is wanting to walk with the broken in any way. (Please see flyer image below).
TBRI - Parenting and Trauma-related training for parents:
“Happy Bear" - Videos on Conversations to have between Parents and children on Safe Touches
She can also provide one-on-one counseling for those who have already experienced trauma, to help continue the healing process and provide a sort of "wrap-around care.”
