Week 1
Welcome to SSI! Week 1 explores the overarching theme of God’s longing to dwell with His creation. From beginning to end, the Bible tells the story of God continually revealing His presence in order to be in relationship with humanity. This foundational truth shapes the spiritual worldview of Workers for Joy and provides the framework for our approach to discipleship. Join us as we explore the greatest joy - God’s presence can be known!
Week 2
In Week 2, we explore Spiritual Disciplines—unique pathways to encounter God’s presence. This class dives into practical ways to study the Bible, engage in meaningful devotions, and pray. Far from mere rituals, spiritual disciplines are not about striving in our own strength; they’re sacred moments of communion with a loving God who eagerly pursues us!
Week 3
Week 3 dives into Hearing God’s Voice, rooted in Jesus’ promise, “My sheep hear my voice” (John 10:27). In this class, we explore the biblical theology of how God speaks and share practical steps to discern His voice in your daily life. Using our SPOT process (Still, Position, Observe, Test), you’ll learn to connect deeply with God, fostering a vibrant, personal relationship with Him.
Week 4
Week 4 kicks off our three-week series, Who is God?, with one week dedicated to each member of the Trinity. In this class, we delve into how God’s love is the bookshelf upon which all other doctrines rest—it’s why God sent His Son, forgave our sins, and seeks to relate to us today. Understanding this love transforms our identity, moving us from head knowledge to a vibrant, living encounter with our Heavenly Father that reshapes our lives and world.
Week 5
Week 5 continues our three part series on God and focuses on the life and role of Jesus. As the perfect son, Jesus models connection and submission to the Father demonstrating both his love for us and His heavenly Father. He is the most successful person who ever lived! His relationship with the Father worked! By exploring the pattern of His life, we uncover spiritual keys to unlock our hearts and embrace our God-given destiny.
Week 6
Week 6 concludes our series on Who is God by focusing on the role of the Holy Spirit. As we unpack deep biblical truths on how the Holy Spirit relates to us, we discover the metaphorical ATM code to our heavenly bank account. He is access to all that we need for life and godliness! He is the manifestation of the love and kingdom of God on earth today!
Week 7
Week 7 launches our three-week series on Identity, tackling the question, “Who am I?” In this class, we explore God’s plan to make all things new, examining what transpired in the Spirit when Jesus died and contrasting it with the spiritual impact of Adam’s fall. By comparing humanity’s default state in Adam with our new identity in Christ, we gain tools to live in righteousness today.
Week 8
Week 8 builds on our Identity series, deepening our framework for growing in righteousness by introducing the Joy Journey. The Joy Journey is a “rule of life” equips you to navigate spiritual warfare, discern God’s will, and live from hope. In this class, we show you how to develop your hope and faith charts and explore how engaging the reality of spiritual warfare can shape our outcomes and guide us toward our God-given destiny.
Week 9
Week 9 wraps up our Identity series and completes the second half of the Joy Journey. In this class, we guide you in creating a faith chart, standing firm on God’s Word, and overcoming spiritual battles that hinder your God-given future. Faith is more than mental belief—it’s a vibrant connection to God, opening your life to His transformative influence.
Week 10
Week 10 wraps up our School of Supernatural Identity Level 1. In this class, we equip you with essential insights to live out the truths you’ve embraced. You’ve received more than you realize! By keeping these revelations at the forefront of your heart, you will bear much fruit and your joy will be full!
